We're a young church plant in Dothan, gathering to pray, open the Scriptures, and follow Jesus together. Wherever you are on the journey, there's room for you here.
Our mission is simple, Follow. Become. Do. We participate in God's kingdom by multiplying disciples across our city, helping people follow Jesus, become like him, and do what he did in the Wiregrass.

4:00-5:30 PM · Upstairs in the conference room and gathering space. A relaxed evening to meet the Arise family, hear our story, and ask anything. Come as you are.
Confirming your attendance by texting Pastor Brian is optional. It helps us prepare, but it is never required. If you would rather just show up, please do, and we will be glad you came.

Gathered Worship
This is the church gathered. Our communities come together to worship Jesus as one, with praise, prayer, preaching from the Word, and the Lord's Table. We're building toward this rhythm now, and we're not there yet. We'll announce the first gathering on social media, our website, and by email, so get on our list and you'll know when it's here.
Serve the City
Loving our neighbors is part of who we are. Once a month we head out together to serve Dothan and the Wiregrass, simple, practical help offered freely in Jesus' name. No experience and no long commitment needed; it's one of the easiest, most low-pressure ways to get to know us. Text Pastor Brian and he'll fill you in on the next one.

There's room for you
Our Disciple Making Community is the heart of Arise, and it isn't going anywhere. We gather every Sunday at 10:00 AM at Mural City Coffee to make disciples who make disciples, and as we grow these communities multiply across our city into new groups, days, and times. We're also building toward Gathered Worship, when our communities come together as one to worship, hear the Word, and share the Lord's Table, and we'll announce the first one on social media, our website, and by email. There's room for you in it.
Where we are right now
Arise Dothan is a church being planted, and a plant grows in stages. Right now most of our life happens in our Disciple Making Community and out on mission across the city. We follow Jesus together, care for one another, and serve our neighbors.
We're building toward Gathered Worship, when our communities come together as one to worship, open the Scriptures, and share the Lord's Table. We're not rushing it. We'd rather grow a healthy church slowly than launch a big gathering quickly.
If you want to be part of something real from the beginning, this is a good time to come.

This is the church gathered, when our communities come together as one to praise Jesus, sit under the preaching of the Word, share the Lord's Table, and give attention to the Holy Spirit among us. Become like Jesus
Disciple Making Communities where we're formed into the likeness of Jesus, practice his way together, and are equipped to make disciples who make disciples. This is our core rhythm, and it's here to stay, multiplying across our city into new groups, days, and times.
Join the mission of Jesus
Everyday witness, service, and compassion across Dothan, and serving the city together on the 2nd Saturday of each month. A people who are gathered, then sent.
